But if he’s at something specifically as the Premier, speaking officially on behalf of his state (excluding sensitive security matters etc) , then yes , I think his public have a right to know what he’s said. Even if it’s just a transcript of the speech, that’d do.
Chances are he waffled typical platitudes about the importance of the business and social connections between the two countries, looking forward to future partnership blah blah.
But there’s something fundamentally wrong imo with a scenario where the Premier is speaking as the Premier at an event that bans Australian media, but not the foreign nations media. On Australian soil.
