Australian Politics -- hold my slabs

No changes to existing policies.
Essentially this is going to be an exercise in creative accounting.

They will not legislate a target. But they’ll be accountable.

Great.

If you believe that, I’ve got a bridge I can sell you.

I like that they picked 2020 as the year to benchmark their reductions to date. You know. The year that we all stayed at home and there was a record low energy usage.

Hes a complete and utter charlatan, The amount of effort to go to , to make it look like they are actually trying to do something when really just firming up their mining mates is quite astonishing

Imagine how much money this deal they have cut with the nats is going to cost the taxpayer in more pork barrelling?

We’ll release the modelling in due course

  • ( after Brian Fisher revises his previous model)

Today is the ANNOUNCE of the Plan, no other QS will be answered

  • I have led this Government through difficult times and kept the Coalition together
  • there is only one Plan ( not going to tell you what bribes we have paid to Nats)

Slogan is technology not taxes, the technology is proven - the march of technology , just like transistors changed everything.
Journos asking if the grid is going to be gas instead of coal
All of our policies will be out there before the election.

  • ( ALP has a policy but no Plan, we have a Plan, but no policy)

So it seems like ā€˜the plan’ is to tell everyone as often as possible how good the plan is, how we’ve planned the plan better than anyone else could have planned it and how this is the right plan for Australia.

BUT don’t tell anyone what is actually in the plan, or how we came to the plan (scientific modelling).

So the nats refuse to sign up to a plan than isnt 100 % costed and the plan the government reveals is at the very best, 50% guess work

Frank Jotzo will be appearing at the NPC tomorrow with a couple of others.
In Jotzo I trust.

It’s a QAnon plan. We can’t reveal the details, but trust us, it’s genius.

To be fair, there are at least ten federal elections to occur before 2050.

But see, they had a go yeah? So they get a go. That’s the rules remember?
