Try being a sole trader and get anything. It’s farked.

god I fkng hate the ā€œwinners and losersā€ narrative of federal budgets so much

every LNP budget of the last three decades

winners: middle and upper class
losers: vulnerable people

there, done.

isnt it just assumed that as a sole trader you not paying tax anyway as everything is a write off.

Aren’t you a self-funded retiree these days?

Wish I’d known that. No, you can’t get away with much at all, less than most businesses. I really should become a preacher.

What? Are they charging tax on the milk in the coffee?

I didn’t know this. Congrats on your retirement. How exciting!

I’d love to have your accountant. I’ve just finished paying off a humongous tax bill.

Yeah - bring them on!

ScuMo and his mates are generous to those on $250k+. Not so much to those earning $80k:

That’s incorrect, you will save around $2k

That’s incorrect, you will save around $1k… no cheating by including previous cuts.

The cuts aren’t doing much other than canceling some bracket creep.

Still, looking forward to being un-Australian and investing/mortgage-reducing my bonus.

I get women by and large care for the kids and hence the complaint on childcare.

Id like to think more men are taking on primary carer roles so its a more equal burden.

But you know thats some feminist ideal than prevailing reality.

I don’t meet many women whose ideal eligible man doesn’t come with a good job.
