After that round 9 game where we lost 2-1 to Brissie after leading the Adelaide media were scathing and labelled the side soft and Gombau a poor coach. Gombau came out on the front foot and defended his players and labelled the media leeches and had a huge on air rant at a certain newspaper reporter. Since that day we have played 10 games and taken 21 points from 30.

That day seemed to gel the side and Gombau has earnt a lot of respect for going into bat for his chargers. A complete new gamestyle was always going to take months to implement and most of the hardcore fans could see the improvement coming. Still a bit to go but Im feeling pretty confident of playing finals and even a top 2 finish isnt out of the equation with a bit of luck

We played the senior team off the park and beat them 2-1 very promising signs for reserve team.
Had a chance for a brace but farked both of them.
