South Melbourne v WSW

Flares for daaaaaaays *
*(c) Nandoz 2013

Habbibi ole ole ole !

Soccer is massive in NSW and I think have the most playing at that level. ration of 9:4 though is a bit rough.
I like the concept and the idea of it, the fact that we could see Melbourne Victory play South Melbourne would be awesome, provided those greeks leave their flares and **** behind.
It will start as a mickey mouse competition but if there is good prizemoney plus showcasing the talents of the lower leagues, it could be really good for the game.

Come on, we all know Viccy is just a re-badged South Melbourne lol.
I reckon its a great idea, cant wait to see the mighty Juve back on the big stage

juve are scum, but i know a few of the lads down at the zebras who wouldn't mind the chance to leave a few studs in on morewell

fkg talented lads too, reckon they'd hold their own against a few a-leaguers

Hmm I read seven from NSW plus the extra two from northern NSW.

I think those numbers (the 22 from regional leagues) are separate from the ten A-League clubs and if that's the case, I think it'd be fair to say that NSW statewide probably deserve extra numbers but by a total of five? I think not. Otherwise HAP, yes it is legit.

I'm hungover, brain's a bit broken.

Different links have quoted different numbers.

I'd be interested in seeing the total number of clubs & registered players across the different states.

I've heard it claimed that the VPL was of a higher standard but who knows? The numbers would favour NSW, perhaps not 9:4. Splitting hairs I guess.

If bigger clubs are to treat it lightly, it'd be great to see a bunch of part timers from Tassie somehow make it to a Quarter or Semi. That would possibly make big sporting news here, people seem to enjoy the old giantkiller storyline, plus positive media for football in this country.

South Hobart FC for FFC Cup 2014, get around them

Cheating Asian refs doing their best to screw over the Aussies. Worst penalty decision ive ever seen

Anyone else catch Simon Hill's little slip up at the end of the heart game.

Brisbane Roar are letting the "premiershit" slip

Mon lads

Decent start, passing pretty crisp

Wanderers and ccm lose their first group games

Coe’s distribution is horrid

ZIDANE

FKN GET IN

Kudos to Victory, some said they should basically write this game off to save up for the Derby (I thought they should go all guns blazing tonight :P).  To go to China and be beating the defending Champs 2-0 approaching half time is astonishing.  I don't know what lineups each club has and whether they are full strength but it is still an amazing result in the offing.

■■■■ you coe

73min gone victory are 3-2 down after leading 2nil at halftime, pretty open game though. Get the sense their is moe goals in this one.

Victory deserve at least a point imo

Wow, Viccy lose 4-2.

Some absolute peaches of goals by both sides.

Went to bed at HT and honestly couldnt see the Chinese getting back into the game.

Not a great opening round by the Aussies

Dissapointed but dam proud of that. Away to the richest team in Asia worth 16.5 times more than our club and lead them 2-0 at half time so many positives. Makes me think we can get out the group by taking points of Jeonbok and Yokahama.

LOL at the RBB costing their team the game by ripping a flare and blinding thier defenders so badly they conceed a game changing goal.

Leigh Broxham is my personal Jesus Christ

How many flare RBB rip?
