Struggled in England, but seems to have found his feet in Japan and was IMO unfairly sacked
Sponsorship money and media attention.
Nobody wanted to see or hear Arnold talk, and whether results are good or bad, Kewell will attract attention.
Right now with how boring and ordinary they are, they need something to stay in the spotlight.
Then just hope for some luck or young exciting players coming through.

They should have had a crack at getting Marcelo Bielsa a couple of years ago. He turned a bunch of bang average footballers at Leeds into a well oiled machine and is now doing well with Uruguay.
