He’s decent enough, I think he’ll be handy for Socceroos for sure. Didn’t get a call to the current Italy team for upcoming friendlies despite the team being made up entirely of U21 players. The lure of playing in a WC and constantly missing Italy selection and the fact that we (Italy) don’t make world cups anymore, I think he made the right choice.

Our tactics? We will probably be ultra-defensive for the first hour, before bringing on the speedy, daring youngsters.

Kisnorbo managed a whole two months (after a whole 7 games with Victory). Was it a caretaker role?

Yeah, the round ball game in general. Totally different from AFL given that there are loads of leagues to work in and poaching, sackings, and caretakers are all common.
Kisnorbo stepped into the role from assistant, but was doing ok and should’ve been given more of a go. That club expects success and want to keep replicating the titles Ange and Muscat got them.
We hired him from Melbourne Heart then 7 weeks in he took off to Japan.
