Not surprised. Saudi Arabia are doing a massive tourism push currently as they are trying to transition away from fossil fuels. Their infrastructure spend is phenomenal and they have some real bold plans with a new government airline and airports in the hope of being the big dog of the ME and some claims that they want to overtake Dubai. Iām not sure it will succeed due to their very rigid rules especially in Riyadh but as someone who has been to Saudi Arabia half a dozen times Iād have no hesitation going back and a World Cup over there would definitely be on my list
