Ben Rutten - Back to the grindstone (Part 2)

8 mins, 10 seconds in look at the video. He says as clear as day he did not know it was occurring in the moment and that he had not seen the vision at all prior to being on tv.

Either Dys is clueless or Truck has just thrown him under the bus

The thing about team mates going in to stick up for one another and fly the flag, it’s hard to manufacture it.

If you genuinely have a tight-knit group and the connection and care factor for each other is high and the morale is great, it tends to just happen instinctively.

Similar story with effort. I know getting paid the way they do, we all expect 100% effort 100% of the time as a minimum but in reality that’s hard to get. But if the playing group is aligned and the playing group eats out of the hand of the coach/coaching group then the effort is going to organically happen far more often.

Truck said Dys was aware of the incident.
Doesn’t mean he became aware of the incident later on, so yes, Truck threw Dys under the bus.
Just another Fck Up

I hate this talk about broken systems.

It’s a cop out.

The players are just lazy and not working hard enough.

Sydney out worked them. There was no great system at Sydney except hard ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā–  work.

Turn it up Tim.

This and this… one of the things I really thought had changed last year was that the guys seemed to truly care about each other… suddenly we had guys coming in and supporting each other yada yada

We have gone backwards a long way. You can’t ā€˜manufacture’ care… it just doesn’t work the same.

Our guys all just focussed on not losing their jobs… rather than actually observing what is happening around them.

Bit of both probably

I think it was Dyson just trying to save face in all honesty.

I think we can turn things around if we can reiterate ā€œunconditional ruthlessnessā€ and ā€œexecute the fundamentals, one touch in the contestā€. Keep the message short and simple.
Game plan and everything else has been instilled, let them play on instinct.

ā€œHave not seen the footageā€ but was ā€œaware of the incidentā€.

Not sure why this is difficult to understand.
I’ve never seen so many posters making up shitt so they can find something negative to rage about.

Clarkson main coach.

Mark Williams development (If there was some way to try him out of Melbourne and he’s still not p1ssed at us for interviewing him while we had no intention of hiring him)

No co-incidence Melbourne won the flag the first year Choco got there.

Him and Clarko is a dream team of inspirational coaches who command respect but put the heat on the players to perform.

We know Clarkson can coach, Ben not so much…

But he was being evaluated by people that know SFA about what it takes to make a successful club.

Did he bury anyone?

I did state a new CEO is equally a necessary change later this season/year if we keep going the way we are.

That’s exactly what he said.

Dyson clearly stated as clear as crystal that he was not aware of the incident taking place at the time. Clap harder nurse lover.

Just a pulverising tackle on Brad Hill!

Oh wait, that was Ambrose

So Truck more or less saying game plan is not the problem, or at least not the immediate problem they are focusing on, rather it’s the players.

Interesting.

Truck is clueless. I’m growing more sceptical by the second.

You can become aware of something after it happens you peanut. You can even be aware of something having happened without having seen the footage of it.

ā– ā– ā– ā–  me this place is full of brain dead simpletons.
