You don’t see how bigger a wreck the press will turn it into if e don’t have a coach? What if rutten, cause he’s actually got principles and won’t leave the club in the lurch, has agreed to stick around?

Geez I’m struggling with all this. I’ve been defending Rutten until Sunday. I don’t think he can continue, and how the club can leave him dangling like is dreadful. But, although I now think the club needs a severe shake up, I really feel ill about Clakko coming in as the saviour. I suppose like many I’ll get over it if he comes and we start winning consistently but… It is though now clear that we need someone to put the fear of god into some of the players. I’d start with Stringer and Hind, and get to Parish pretty darn quick, and anyone else who picks and chooses about fitness, attitude and defensive running and adherence to the gameplan. If they don’t like it…out. I just wish is wasn’t Clakko
