At least we have some hope (just to be competitive in more games)for 2023. Can the next coach fix our goal kicking and coast to coast problems. Barham wasn’t very articulate but he appears a change agent.

Agreed. We read yesterday all about how the players tore strips off Barham for his handling of the coaching situation, and then they get the chance to show up and play their hearts out for Rutten, and they serve up … that? Money where mouth is, guys.

In fairness, I think the effort was there last night especially from the senior players, full credit to Richmond they were ready for it and were just too good.

Barham is a fraud.

Much better performance today from Barham. Sounded a little bit ruthless. Talked about our history and success- exactly what I wanted to hear.

Genuinely why? All that stuff is completely irrelevant, do you hear Geelong, Richmond or Sydney presidents talking like that. If we are benchmarking ourselves against them how about we actually start acting like those clubs and not second rate John Elliot’s from the 1980’s.

It’s the first time I’ve felt this way.
But his influence is way beyond that of his role.
And the sense of entitlement is everything that is wrong with our club.

So much this and for all roles/players.

Way to many decisions based on power and relationships rather than just are you doing a good job. Nothing changes until the cronyism is removed.
