2. Has anyone ever been more photogenic than Coltrane with his horn. Not his best album but his best cover.
1. Blue Note perfected the art of cool covers and nothing is cooler than Hub-tones.

One of my fav albums would love to snare a vinyl
Great album cover, masterpiece of an album. Cannot stand anything the RHCP have released since - to the degree that I almost have a hatred of them - but this is one of my all time favourite albums.
That's ■■■■■■ harsh Zimmer ,californication is brilliant.been a bit predictable since then though but certainly not ■■■■,safe maybe but not ■■■■.nikelback are ■■■■Great album cover, masterpiece of an album. I think everything after Stadium Arcadium has been sh*t.
RHCP are ■■■■, and that includes Blood Sugar…
Musically they’re not too bad, but Kiedis thinks he’s some deep and meaningful lyricist/poet type. Too bad he comes across as a pubescent teen who’s read far too much Dr Seuss.
read his autobiography.
I have.
that book marked the end of my recreational drug phase
Yeah, he’s got delusions of being some meaningful poet. His lyrics are pretty cheesy. Some stuff is fun to sing along to though. Knock Me Down, Give It Away, that’s some good tuneage. Cool live also.
Have you read that Motley Crüe autobiography? (Thread derailment)that book marked the end of my recreational drug phase

Signals (1982)
Moving Pictures (1981)
Counterparts (1993)
This one deserves a mention. The cover itself is nothing special (although striking in it's simplicity) but the album packaging is just great, particularly the vinyl version.

It's based on an mid century medical/religious book. Friend of mine has a copy of the actual book. Is a frightening read on many levels. Not a Pearl Jam fan as such, but remember really liking that album a lot.

Each to their own. I didn't say they were ****. I said I can't stand anything they've released since - I think they became complacent and lazy, completely formulaic and Keidis's "singing" is especially annoying. Whilst I will concede "hatred" is harsh, I can't stand Californication. But the reference was to BSSM and whilst there might be a contradiction in my thoughts on the band, there's more praise in my post than anything. It is, as I said in my original post, a masterpiece. In any case, I don't think my opinion will make much of a difference to them.
FWIW Nickeback aren't worth mentioning.
