Biscuit Banter

Not biscuits. But, my gran used to make Butterscotch Krimpets… They were so good, I would commit crimes for them.

My contribution to the underrated category: Woolworths in-house choc-chip cookies. Okay, the reason they’re nice is that they’re about 98% sugar, but they really are nice. And cheap.

And you thought the Irish were mad…Scotch Finger Biscuits!!

Americans have these “biscuits” they give you in diners that are like scones before a meal.

Weird bunch the yanks.

I’m surprised that we haven’t heard from @crumbs as yet.

Best are mint slice and kingstons. Overrated oreos, as others have said.

I can eat any of the savoury biscuits. I think they’re all wonderful.

RACIST!

Not enough love for…

Iced Vovos & Strawberry Mallows (they are cousins)

Jam Tartlets (yes I am counting these as biscuits)

And I’ll add my voice to Tim Tams being most certainly overrated

Have you tried the dark chocolate ones?

I don’t understand the love for Kingstons. I’m not criticising, obviously it’s a matter of taste.
To me, the biscuit isn’t good, the filling isn’t good, and…just nope.
Always the last ones to go from the assortments in the biscuit barrel.

Reminds me of a “joke” for maybe 40 years ago…

What does 200 miles an hour in the laundry cupboard. …Stirling Moth. What goes at 200 miles per hour in the biscuit tin…Peter Brokhoff.
