Blatant cheating by umpires - “having a ‘mare” this century

every week there has been an absolute howler paid against him.

You forgetting 2018 ANZAC Day? Glad you’ve been able to remove it from your memory.

Don’t think it’s pure incompetence when it’s targeted at one team in a 2 team game. There’s plenty of games where teams continue to get shafted, and in a lot of instances by the one particular umpire (not just Essendon games).

And when there was an active umpire suspended and caught making bets on Brownlow results, and our long time nemesis Troy Parnel facing charges of fraud is a bit hard to say that impetus are clean skins and just incompetent.

It’s a pity Brad says nothing about 10 goals from 10 free kicks. He never rocks the AFL boat even with suspensions

It seemed a last desperate effort to get the Dogs past the 100 points margin.

My username was very relevant in that third quarter after the Clarke HTB and the tripping call. Apologies to anyone sitting near the interchange on level 1.

Absolutely agree. The only I could agree with them on was the 50 against Merrett which was there but then they didn’t call him back sufficiently in my view. Same applies for the 50m against McMahon for not coming back to the 9m line.

Bont took the mark before falling forward. Merrett came and stood the mark between where Bont was and where he took the mark. So technically it was there but from the tv audio the umpire didn’t call him back at all.

Ridiculous. One of many ridiculous calls.

This wasn’t paid as 50m either. Naughton didn’t go with Ridley, so just meanders through the protected area anfter we took an mark. umpire was doing that ‘no ball’ hand signal they do when they are waving someone out of the area.

Can some technical advanced person please invent an AI that will replace these boffins.

Going to be interesting if Pannell has some AFL skeletons in his closet and finds prison life too hard, as his loyalty seems to be only to himself

All due to his concussion sustained while umpiring?

The Law is at last catching up with my opinion.

Is Pannell the ANZAC day ump?

Quick, someone offer him a book deal.

Should be contempt of football.

Watching tonight has confirmed that Naughton is definitely an umpire favourite.

Not just naughton, the chumps have a doggy boner
