Again. They were stitched up cruelly by the AwFL when they were the only club that supported us during the Saga.
So they are another on the AwFL’s “Do Not Care” list.

So, did finlayson utter his slur at a player or an umpire ?
He seemed very ready to tell club officials that it was directed at an Essendon player. Had the umpire just awarded a free against him? Its all a bit hazy.
And apparently the umpire didn’t even know the meaning of the word!

Did anyone see that one where Pies got a free at CHF, Daicos had the ball and put his hands up like woah I’m stopping, Dons guy doesn’t tackle as the play is stopping, Daicos gets passed him and just plays on. “Advantage!”

Kelly got that second consecutive 50 for not clearing out when running towards the new mark. Mihocek (?) did the exact same thing, jogging in front us when we got a 50, nothing.

These mistakes you guys rightly point out were all mistakes. As there are in every game.
But at no stage today did it feel like umpiring impacted this contest one or the other. Not sure why the thread was bumped at all today.

1st quarter - umps loved us and helped with our early momentum.
2nd quarter - same but the other way.
3rd and 4th - questionable decisions each way.
Probably about even in terms of impact on the result.
