Thought I’d see if people would be interested in a Blitz NFL Fantasy League for 2025. We’d need at least 8 teams with 12 being ideal.
If you’ve never played before but are keen to try, jump on! NFL fantasy is very simple and the scoring is the easiest to follow of any fantasy sport. Plus it will give us something to do throughout September and AFL off season…

Thanks mate, didn’t see this thread at all. Probably not keen to join another basic league, already in a couple with mates. I started a IDP dynasty league a couple of seasons ago and would like to get another one of those off the ground.
No stress mate. A Blitz one should be fun and a good way to pass the time of AFL off season.

Where do we play this, and what’s the commitment? I enjoy a bit of NFL but have never done NFL fantasy before

I am going to recommend ‘Sleeper’ app. I’ve used a few platforms before and Sleeper is by far an away the best. So if you have a phone, you’re good.
Commitment wise it’s fairly easy going. We draft our teams, then basically you set your team line up each week. You have the ability to trade players to other teams, pick up players off the waiver wire and can be as involved as you want to be - but the minimum amount of commitment is set a line up each week.
Scoring is pretty simple - yards, catches & touchdowns = points. The regular season is usually 13-14 weeks depending on the league size, then usually 2-3 weeks for playoffs to determine a champion. The video below explains the basics well

You’re more than welcome. The draft is fairly intuitive in many respects - it will suggest players to pick up so you won’t be completely in the dark.
