I’m seeking interest from people to sponsor players for 2025. The price is now $1095 per player.
Therefore it would be 22 Blitzers each contributing $50 to raise the funds for one sponsorship. 44 Blitzers for two players, 66 Blitzers for three players, 88 Blitzers for four players etc.
If there is any additional money at the end, it will be donated to fightmnd.org.au
What do you get personally for the money you contribute? well, truthfully not a lot! The money doesn’t actually go to the players of course, or it would cause issues with salary cap etc – it’s a donation to the club.
We’ll receive a signed jumper per sponsorship group. There will also be player badges, sponsor pins, cards and lanyards (2 of each per sponsorship group). These will be allocated among those who put their hands up.
There will also be invitations to events, including an online mid-season call with Mark Harvey, and an online call with Matt Rosa post mid-season draft.
There is also the Player Sponsor Preseason Launch/ Player Sponsor Night which will be held on Monday 17 February at Marvel Stadium. EDIT - this will now be held on Monday 31 March.
But the main thing is, you get the warm fuzzy feeling that you’re helping players feel adored and appreciated (awwww! 
)
The other major bonus is that you don’t see ads on Blitz!!
Update 6/2/2025: We have currently enough interest to sponsor three players, and we are going to continue sponsoring Durham, Tsatas and Caddy, who we also sponsored last year.
I’ll keep the topic open for another few weeks in case anyone else still wants to join in.
If there is enough additional interest, and we are able to sponsor a fourth player, we’ll have further discussion then re which additional player to sponsor.

The money will be collected in early March for most people.
There were a few people who did not make their payment last year, in spite of multiple follow up messages. For those people - if you would like to take part in 2025, that’s ok, however I will need to receive not only the outstanding payments but also payments for this year by Friday 7 February.
If you didn’t get a follow up message re payments - you’re all good!
Some Blitzers like to take two spots - that’s absolutely fine! I’ll indicate this as ‘x 2’ in the list.
Others are happy to take a second spot if needed to make up the numbers - I’ll indicate this as (+1) in the list.
There will be a separate area for player sponsors on Blitz to discuss allocation of goodies and other topics as the year goes on
