Blitz Probe Cycling

Yeah that's the thing, I went over the limit before even picking something off the wish list...

I'm whittling away the wishlist ;)

Trick is to get it delivered to work instead of home so the +1 doesn't get suspicious!

Unless the receptionist is on to your game.

That's why the missus and receptionist shall never meet haha.

Tend to steer clear of online stores these days. Sure fire way to a depressed mood, for mine.

I do occasionally like to torture myself though...got my eye on a gorgeous electronic equipped Swiss girl at the moment ;)

Caved in and bought the things I need, not the crap I filled my cart with (like a box of cliff bars, 20% off today on BikeBug!).

Finally bought some winter gear, just wish Wiggle would ship a little faster, as it'll be 2ºC tomorrow.

I need a front light. Doesn't have to be Super Awesome, just want something reliable and bright. Recommendations, Blitz?

To be seen, or to light up the road?

Get a Knog Blinder just to throw some light out and be seen.

Get a Fyxo 'king Bright to light up the road.

I am yet to meet or see a cyclist who doesn't put his or her own life in danger by their contempt for the road rules.

Just this morning I had a car driver that had no care for my life by not giving way to me, as they should have legally, through a roundabout.

I also just yesterday had a car cut me off switching lanes in peak traffic at over the speed limit, putting his and my life in danger.

What's your point?

I am yet to meet or see a car driver who does not put his or her own life, or the life of other road users, including motorbike riders and cyclists, in danger by their contempt for the road rules

Threads**ting.

My point is. Be safe. Follow the road rules.

I didn't say there ain't idiot drivers out there.

I'm out of here before this gets ugly. :)

This morning I did, the driver didn't. If I didn't break (which I did because I anticipated the driver would screw me) I would've hit the drivers side of a Hyundai Getz at about 40km/h.

Noonan is lurking...

My Fly6 http://fly6.com/ (rear light / camera combo) arrived yesterday.

Away for a couple of days, but will fit on Sunday (I hope) and let you know how it goes.

"Regardless of the road rules, a cyclist's first priority should always be self preservation"

I'm at 473km for the month! Not a whole lot in the grand scheme of things, but since I have had barely any time to get out, pretty damn stoked on that result. Will go for a quick blat in the AM before work, round off the fi'e hunnit :)

Didn't you know...?? We cyclists are above the law. No, really. It's because we don't pay rego, we can do whatever we want with complete impunity. And if a motorist hits one of us, off to jail for him/her! Ain't life grand?! /sarcastica.

And speaking of flouting road rules, have a go at these blokes. Red light, what red light??
