Blitz Watch Along - Week 6 vs Melbourne Round 2 2013 Tonight @ 8

511.11% today

That’s even better than the time Melbourne lost to West Coast 22-99 in a round one game to put the Eagles on top with a percentage of 450%.

Not really. Melbourne were ■■■■

I watched this game in a bar in Hoi An, Vietnam. The bar was run by a pom who had no idea about footy. I suggested he support Essendon. It wasn’t hard to convince him.

Brilliant!!!

Poor Dusty, should have been the clear games record holder but for a shedload of mostly bullshit suspensions.

Let’s be honest. We haven’t been that good tonight. It’s not like that game versus Adelaide a couple weeks ago, which had dozens of OMG freak moments.

And were back in the now.

I can remember fully laughing out loud in the last qtr. They were an awful side.

Stats are up:

He won’t make it out of prep

Hocking 11 disposals but 10 tackles.

Highest for Melbourne was 3 tackles. I thought they did a fair bit of chasing…

Hepp 38 and 3 goals

Enjoyed rewatching us pants a side. Have we had a 100+ point win since?

But geez, brought back some pushed down anger towards the saga there.

We were really building something.

As bad as Melbourne were, that side with a newly recruited Joe daniher could have done something in an era that saw freo make a grand final and teams like bulldogs and Tigers build towards flags.

That’s Jobe’s figures. Heppell a mere 36 and 2. Stants quiet on 33 and 2.

Howlett invisible with 25 and 2.
