Could be guilt by association. It happens. You do this for us and we’ll do this for you.
Same thing in eyes of the law
Silly silly silly
After the saga and all
Of course the media or AFL are not going to show him or say former Geelong Coach…
Here we go again!
Here is the party line
“Shut up will ya’s”
lol
I think it is fair to refer to him as an Essendon person. He played for us for 15 years, was an assistant coach twice and a senior coach once, and the most recent club that employed him is us.
Blitz posts about Bomba on the Dustin Fletcher board. Should it be posted as a part of the Geelong thread instead?
He spent 15 years with Essendon, 10 with Geelong. All I want to see is a bit of balance. It isn’t all Essendon or all Geelong, just a bit of both.
Hope he gets a fairer court hearing than he did from the AFL and that he is getting messages from Essendon and Geelong as well as AFLPA that they are there for him, as compared to being treated as a pariah. If the media start camping outside his house, the AFL should take a stand.
Beware all those speculative strands in the cable.
Gillon McLaughlin, I do not believe in paying hush money. Liar, liar, liar.
How about calling in favours???
I love the man. Best wishes to him and his family.
That’s the BETA talking
He doesn’t refer to himself as an Essendon person. His Geelong achievments define him as a Geelong person. Said so last year.
I hate the media - especially after the slime they brewed and threw at the club over recent years. But in their defence, his last football gig (for 4 years) was with Essendon. I did see an article this afternoon that started with “Geelong premiership coach…”
But as any Essendon player in the courts, he’ll be presumed guilty until proven innocent by the public, the AFL and the media. We can’t speculate on any of the facts - just hope for a fair trial.
I’m so desperately sad about this. Personally I can’t help thinking that both he and Hirdy were sent off the rails by the fact that they were found guilty by kangaroo courts and the press during the Saga, and neither of them ever had a real chance to defend themselves.
Perhaps one day the AFL mght try to learn that it’s more mportant to really look after the welfare of your players, past and present than it is to virtue-signal with all their politically correct garbage. There should be a duty of care…and in the case of Hirdy, Bomba, Jobe and all the others affected by the miscarriage of justice, there just hasn’t been.
Very, very sad. I hope someone is looking after him over the comng days.
Bombers cooked
All acts aside which will be handled in court
I fear for his health and state of mind after hearing Robbo on AFL360
I hope he gets medical help now as no doubt he needs it and needs to feel safe in mind as first priority.
Everyone deserves forgiveness if proven guilty and a chance to redeem themselves
i really liked the ABCs news report. “former AFL coach”. i’m sure the afl would love that.
Fark wobbo
He would know more than you and I
