But they actually should come on here and see the lifelong diehards who are falling away from the club.
There are lots of posters on here who have had life long love affairs with Essendon who are at their lowest ebb. I’m one of them. It’s so sad.

I think the most concerning thing about our team is that for years, there are games where the entire team is completely smashed and non-competitive. Most teams have games where the mids are belted but the backline holds up under enormous pressure or mids are belted but the forwardline keeps kicking enough goals to stay in it. Our backline and forwardline is simply not good enough to cover for our mids.

At least most of you got 84, 85, 93. I didn’t get on board until I was 22 years old and one year from our last flag. All that happened before I knew what Essendon was or that it would be significant in my life.
