Matty Dea - 15 disposals, 4 marks and 2 tackles. I like him and would be happy to see us pick him in the draft if possible. He is a hard body and uses it to his advantage.
Mick Hartley - 6 disposals, 2 marks, 4 tackles. King of 1%ers! How good will it be to have him, Hooker, Hurley, Francis, Brown, Ambrose and Gwilt to choose from for the tall defensive positions next year.
Joe Daniher - 6 disposals, 4 marks, 3 tackles, 2 goals. No fluffing around, don’t take the mouthguard out, just kick the bloody thing through the big sticks. Seems like he is much more natural on the trot having a shot.
Conor McKenna - 15 disposals, 5 marks, 4 tackles. Really starting to get a run at it. His field kicking is very good and he is having a fair craic. Keep him in and let’s see what happens. I think it is only a matter of time before we see one of his dashes through the middle linking up and moving the ball forward for a goal, like we have seen in the VFL.
Pops Kelly - 23 disposals, 8 marks, 4 tackles. Great to see Pops kick that goal. That is how you do it. Bang! He is playing well and still racking up the touches.
BJ - 27 disposals, 5 marks, 4 tackles. Gave away a silly 50 in front of goals.
Craig Bird- 24 disposals, 16 contested possessions, 8 clearances, 3 marks, 7 tackles. Tough as Will Hams’ head. Just throws himself at the contest. Great addition to our midfield going forward.
Langford - 17 disposals, 2 marks, 5 tackles, Was in the thick of it at times. Developing well for a 19 yr old and is still growing into his body I reckon. Moves well and could be a very good player for us.
Hams - 12 disposals, 2 marks, 8 tackles, 1 goal Sticks his tackles, kicks his goals, busts his gut. Keep him in for sure. Not every player is going to get 30 touches, so the ones who can make something happen with only a few are worth persevering with imho.
Laverde - 11 disposals, 8 marks and 2 tackles.
wow, is that two goals two weeks running? Like Hams he makes the most happen with his limited touches.
Darcy Parish - 20 disposals, 4 marks and 7 tackles. He is lightning fast getting the ball out to advantage by hand. Wasn’t as clean with his disposals this week, but just wow. It is going to be such a buzz watching this kid over the next few years.
Walla - 9 disposals, 6 marks, 6 tackles. 1st quarter was awesome, but went quiet. Watch out when we see 4 qtr Walla.
Zerrett - 34 tackles, 7 marks, 10 tackles, 1 goal. Another cracking game from Zachy. Future Captain material. Can’t wait to see him with our senior players back around him.
Mitch Brown - 14 disposals, 7 marks and 2 tackles. Not getting the grabs like we have seen in the past. Did move down back to cover for when Gwilt went down and did a decent job.
Smack - Where has that fire and intensity gone?
Woosha - Can see the game plan works but doesn’t have all the pieces to flesh it out yet. All coming together though.
Leuny - We missed him last week, gives us something in the ruck contest. Second efforts not bad.
Dempsey - 12 disposals, 5 marks, Zero tackles! Dropped some sitters that he would normally gobble up. He wasn’t on today.
Gwilt - Poor bugger went down with what looked like a quad or knee injury.
