Every team gets runs of goals scored on them. Collingwood did in the same game.
Get where you’re coming from, but it’s not as though it’s bulldogs type proportions. And loathsome as it is to say we appear to be making incremental improvements. Which is what we said last time. And the time before that…

Not to jinx us, but isn’t there a stat that the top eight doesn’t change much after round seven? In that yes teams move up and down but it’s very rare for teams to get in or out of the top eight after the part of the season we are at right now?

The end of an era moment for me was when we lost to the pies on Anzac Day 2002. ■■■■ day. Mark who?
As always another cripplingly pessimistic and depressing monologue.
The past does not define us, no one playing 15 years ago is playing today.
You can see it as you will, but it’s hard to look forward, when you’re always looking backward.
Take a look at GWS, what has happened to them in the last few years?
They lost Cameron, Hopper, Taranto, Caldwell, Bruin And probably others that I don’t even remember.
They sacked their coach and appointed a newbie, who did what in his first season?
Nearly took them to a grand final.
I believed we would finish I think 4 to 6 and said as much and another thread.
Nothing that I’ve seen this season so far stops me from believing that.
It is still early in the season, but we are so far ahead of what I expect you would have predicted DKP at this point because I am sure you would’ve believed that what we have already achieved was impossible based on your backward looking views.
Who knows what the future holds, but the games we have remaining in the season are looking good. If we manage to put away , the games that we should win it will tell us a lot about just how far we’ve come. I expect us to continue to win some games that you will think we won’t.
