Why 6 years? Most teams around us rebuild in like 2 or 3 and are back to being in the 8 or actually genuinely contending for it.

Isn’t it normally the opposite though? haha we start the year dog ■■■■ and work out way into it to either scrape into the 8 or just miss out. We’ve just done it the other way around this year haha
We have had countless big floggings in the past 15 years. Nothing of note has come out of it.

Exactly my thoughts.
Almost prefer this to continue on pretending all is on track.
Bloody miles off it and the list is bottom 4 quality. The idea that we have been an underperforming list has always concerned me. I really hope that this year has been a genuine attempt for Brad to see what he’s got and that this will be the catalyst for the hard decisions which need to be made. Unfortunately I have no confidence that will happen.

Truck got the arse because the players looked disinterested. The last month has pretty much been as bad.

The only reason this guy hasn’t been under much external pressure yet is because half the media people like him and stroke him off.
If this was Truck for another year he’d be copping it. If it was most other coaches they’d be copping it. Regardless of this fake ass “development year” propaganda that the club and people on here will spew to try and wrap their heads around the never ending disappointment.

This is how we’ll reflect on season 2023. He’s a coach with no standards at the moment.

I’m sorry but are you using the post template that gets used on this site around this time of year for the last decade?
I reckon reality has hit Brad how far off we really are. Our reserves are ordinary, and look a mile behind nearly every other team in the league. As a few have mentioned, I would rather get spanked now, rather than lose by a goal in the last 2 games, and think we must be close. Far too many players rest on their laurels, and the side lacks any killer instinct. One thing i loved about Hird when he played, is he absolutely hated losing. We just don’t seem to have that player now.
I don’t want to hear any excuses from Brad after the game. I want him to call a spade a spade.
