I don’t really agree. Strict umpiring/rules just make it hard to be that aggressive, and you need to be more careful to not give away free kicks.
The game is still physical imo, they would be more aggressive if it wasn’t for strict umpiring/rules. The bigger issue is that players diving, pretending to be hurt like they do in soccer is common in the AFL now.

Aggressive at the ball I think. Get it first take the hit. We’ve got a fair few onlookers. Opposition know it and exploit it. They know we fold if it’s hard football.

True, but maybe the diving thing is also cultural. I can’t imagine Dustin Martin ever diving.
As someone else pointed out, possibly a tad harsh and judgemental, I guess I just love the club, am frustrated and want to see these guys pull us out of the ■■■■ with some passion.
