Menzie and Davey shouldnt be in the side. How effective have they been on the forward line? Cox couldnt have done any worse than those spuds.

Not sure that’s a valid reason to say that he is being played out of position though. He has played one game there, that doesn’t make it “his position”.

I am saying he would be more effective playing as a forward. He is not a backman.

He has played effective games down back and he has played effective games on the wing., more than he has played up forward.

The guy doesn’t “have a position”. He is a utility that doesn’t offer much. I suspect they want him to be like Biclavs but he doesn’t seem to have the thing that makes that guy effective around the ground.

Brad must have known from last year he didn’t have the right playing list. That’s not his fault.

This year he should have made it clear we were rebuilding and that selection integrity was a key to the rebuild.

And followed through.

I could accept us being middle of the road because we are, but see the voach blooding in younger players and bringing integrity into the selection process. Then at seasons end, make the necessary decisions.

He went for the sugar fix of potentially getting a finals win. But it’s not a solid foundation, it’s one based on a swamp.

He’s wasted 2 years figuring out what most of us knew 2 years ago. The list sucks. The fact its taken 2 years to see the bleeding obvious is unforgivable

Its not the boards fault ie hiring of Brad. They went external with a committee for our next coaching hire. Had Jordan Lewis and a few others on it. Look we have a terrible playing list, but the decisions Brads made have been so bad.

It was a sham process. They did not interview anyone else, asked the man they wanted for the job to interview, who they only interviewed once. What competent organisation makes a critical appointment based on one interview?

Except the coach picks the team, the coach plays players in positions they are suited too.

Has nothing to do with scores, it has everything to do with selection, culture, creating a winning environment, accountability, dropping players who don’t perform, changes made during matches in positions not just let’s see how this goes. This is on the coach.

Our defence is in a shambles, we leaked goals like a sive, the competition ain’t that tight, good sides are winning majority of the winnable games, we are just plain ■■■■

It’s the same cycle. Knights needed to discover the playing list , Hird the same, bomber t also, wooshka, Rutten, Scott.
