Brad Scott - yeah, whatever (Part 3)

He has more contacts and knowledge about what’s been happening inside the club for years; far more than nearly all of us on this forum.

He’s a passionate Essendon man Rohan he’s looking at the big picture of what the club is trying to do.

I don’t see how being in the know about what is happening on the inside qualifies him as an expert. Maybe he has been given the Board’s song sheet to sing from. If that is the case it would hard to trust his judgement.

So are all of us on here, otherwise we wouldn’t be posting everyday on a ■■■■■■■ football team fan forum.

Rohan doesn’t play by the clubs song sheet, quite the opposite imo. He’s just a media personality who is passionate about Essendon. Doesn’t make him an expert but he can be good to listen to occasionally.

Did anyone hear him questioning Brad about the quality of list during the post game presser the other week? Not something a ‘club’ person would be doing I’d say!!

Yep. He isn’t a club yes man by any stretch- quite the opposite most of the time.

He is just a passionate supporter with a bigger reach than the normal fan

If he doesn’t sing from the board song sheet why is he in furious agreement with there board?

Happy birthday Brad.

How many more birthdays do the rest of us have to wait before we see even some early signs of the club beginning to turn things around?

Right now it’s same ■■■■, different year.

It’s possible for two parties to have the same opinion independently

Unlikely to be in complete symmetry though.

They are not, it is one issue that they agree at this time. Go and watch or read some of his other stuff and you will see he does not agree.

Some positive news for once.

Get that out of here we only want doom and gloom.

Couldn’t disagree more. He’s the coach we don’t need right now. He’s produced a team that doesn’t look as fit as their opponents, that don’t run as hard or pressure as hard as their opponents, that has sloppy skills and can’t kick goals. That’s a poorly coached team.

I doubt we will still be the number 1 side in that stat come the end of the season. Part would be due to playing a few lowly ranked opponents.

Yeah take that doom merchants

I don’t get the hate.

Most agree the list sux at the moment. But at least they are competing most weeks.

I also think the standards are improving significantly.

I also think as much as everybody scream no development, there is quite a bit and players appear to be able to execute a game plan, even if it is a pretty average one.

For me basic skills are still a problem, but it appears that’s as much about drafting and trading than development as we kept drafting guys who fumble and have poor disposal skills.

Sloppy skills
Cant kick goals
Dont pressure hard enough

Sounds like a player issue a new coach is not going to fix it we need better players.
