I’ve said pretty much all year that for me, the trade and list lodgement period is the key moment and will tell us plenty about where the broader footy department is heading strategically and philosophically. If we cut certain players , and are at least active in trying to move some contracted players ( not easy) or pay out a few contracted players, then irrespective of the coaching group makeup it tells us that the club is definitely looking for a new direction.
