Perhaps we’ve drafted players with the wrong psychological profile if their preparation and effort are so significantly influenced by the importance of the game to the team’s ladder position. I wonder if that is an area where other clubs have a more effective recruitment and psychological assessment process.

Anyone who thought they’d give anything tonight is completely delusional. They’ve probably been on the turps since after the Carlton game. I’ve had cricket training tonight so haven’t seen any of this debacle, but they might as well have forfeited.
We are in for some hard years and will be doing very well if we are back playing finals by the end of the decade. This list is ■■■■. Rosa has a massive job to fix it. I’m done with Scott, but he can’t work miracles with this group of players.

Zero to play for. Just get through it uninjured so you get a clean run at pre-season.

I hear what you are saying, body language speaks volumes, the players had checkout before this game yes, which is also a testament on the coach…..he doesn’t get off by blaming the players only which he does instead of taking the responsibility on himself
