Pls sack
Going backwards towards bottom four and turning over the list isnt that what we want
Yep we have theee years of drafts ahead of us and the list is likely to improve a lot in that time.
So, the next time this fraud has a boner for a possible recruit at the draft, Rosa needs to listen carefully to Scottās instructions⦠and then ignore him, yeah?
Ah, the Costanza/Credlin method.
I approve.
Sam Mitchell on Sen right now talking about how they almost encourage their players to get caught holding the ball as it allows them to develop the skill of taking the game on.
That is a very small but crucial aspect of coaching that I cant imagine our guys are being told, with the way they hot potato panic every time they have the footy.
Was listening to this on the way to work, I get the impression that heās got the balance between coach and team mate just right, sounds like he has a very good relationship with his players, I donāt get that with temu Scott.
Sooo many players not developing or going backwards is also right up there as well. Just doesnāt appear to be doing anything right?
Hawthorn also get to play with Hawthorn rules.
Hobbs on the other hand is developing beautifully.
As much as I would encourage our players to take the man on or go for the kick into the middle, Hawthorn also have the players with the talent to pull those moves off.
Our guys know their limitations. Which is a good thing. Trouble is, they are very very limited.
Still backing scott, but i feel the following needs to change or his job will be in jeopardy.
- Really needs to fix up selection, stop playing some favorites and give the kids a genuine opportunity. Must also start selecting for conditions, sick of being to tall in the wet. Tstatsas simply must be played and he must be played in the centre and not on limited game time.
- The messaging has to change, this loser talk of were not ready, we will be good in a few years is unacceptable and creates an enviroment where its acceptable to fail. He needs to challenge the players to be the best they can, lay an expectation of success. No one gives a crap for aiming high and failing, they certainly do for aiming low and achieving.
If he hasnāt fixed up his team selection by now, he never will
He will never change, itās just a matter of waiting for him to be sacked now. Going to be a long few years
Heās not even trying to take the game on and getting caught.
Brad Scott reminds me of Terry Wallace and Rodney Eade.
Iād sit there watching them coach and speak to the media year on year thinking āThank God they arenāt at Essendonā. For some reason they were both highly rated coaches, but they were aweful.
I think it had to do with them coming from the successful Hawks side which had produced other successful coaches. Brad and Voss are the same.
Developing the players is more important. No use bringing in top 10 picks and playing them in positions they are not familiar with, or teaching them a game style that stifles any of the young exuberance and energy that they bring to the team.
I feel that Kako is already broken.
Your right about this there is some absolutely stupid measures for the pressure rating like if a guy is chasing someone and the ball carrier slows down (or player chases makes ground) to kick the ball thatās counted as a pressure act. Or if a player occupies space in front of a ball carrier that stops them moving forward.
In my mind the only pressure point they use which would be a true measure is pressure act physical which means they actually make physical contact to the player disposing of the ball
You just going sit here and disrespect Damien Pevrill like that?
This is the big one for me, weāre telling everyone itās ok to be crap because ofā¦
Itās not ok, unfuck yourselves and grow up.
Scott even said this in his interview just before the game started. Itās just bizarre messaging
