Brad Scott - yeah, whatever (Part 4)

Next season will be ace. Firstly the vfl should be a lot better and I’m keen to go see it. AFL games are at much better times than last year. Seriously just being able to stay for the whole game helps.

In case you hadn’t noticed, he’s still at the club and training with the team.

He didn’t leave. He asked to be traded for reasons I for one fully understand. The club said no, and he said OK.

Nothing to see here. It’s not a sin to ask.

It’s a sin to go behind the club’s back and make arrangments with a rival coach, and then leak information to the media in order to force the club into a corner to release you. Merrett shoud have just come out and asked to be traded, but instead went ‘ scorched earth’.

What I’d give for one of our favorite sons (Solly) to be the senior coach. We shouldn’t make the same mistake twice. We all know we should have appointed Dimma - sliding doors yes its been mentioned hundreds of times by now.

I literally cant wait for the day when this imposter come AFL mouthpiece is gone. Hes has a nothing coaching record. He’s a wordsmith that’s all.

He’s no good we all know it - pity those that make the decisions don’t see it.

Hiring a favorite son is making the same mistake as we did in the past didn’t work out with Hird.

The club needs to move away from hiring past Essendon players as coaches. It’s the messiah complex that every one complains about if we got Solly as coach or any other Essendon champion.

Why should Brad be removed for the first time in the clubs history everyone seems to be aligned on the vison and goals they want to achieve to make the club great again.

The playing group, president, ceo, coach, list manager etc all on the same page and we want to fark all that up by sacking another coach because on feild results aren’t coming quickly? all it does is reset us back to zero and we have to start from scratch again.

Scott should be removed because he can’t coach.

2 prelims i think he has an idea how to coach not his fault that our club is a complete basket case and has a playing list of full of poor players thanks to the dodo bird.

He’s ooc in 2027 the club can decide then if they want to conitnue with him. sack him next year that’s another million dollar pay out we have to fork out.

Hiring a favourite son because they are a favourite son would be the mistake.

Not sure this is necessarily that.

2 prelims a decade ago…the game has changed but he has not…this is his last chance…and its more to do with selection of team for me..if he continually drops the young players who need the time in the seniors just because of 1 poor performance..than i believe he has resorted back to old habits….and we cant keep going around in circles with his coaching methods which will lead to no premiership success..and yes its all about winning premierships.

Brad doesn’t have many older players left on the list for him to select he has no choice but to play the youngsters next year

The rest of the team should be made up of 2-3 year players and the draftees this season

Welcome back Nino -I missed you. But I still want Scott gone, - not sacked. Well he should be by the time his contract is up. His coaching record doesn’t give anyone confidence he will be a Premiership coach. Hes had enough years to disprove this.

Torn between our extraordinarily unappealing game style and performances under Scott, or whether yet another sacking (i am expecting us to be bottom 4) is going to set us back yet again.

Hard to ignore after his time at the helm how putrid we have been even including last year’s 'free pass’.

terrible coaching no matter how you look at it, fact is he was new that didn’t come under the spot light, with Barhams protection.

He will be under the spotlight next year under Welsh, if we start the season 1-5 or worse 0-6 he won’t see the year out

Parish comes straight over Tsatas who by all accounts has worked his butt off over the preseasob so far.

Parish does nothing, will really open eyes

I for one can hardly wait for Jones to be fit and Brad to play him on the wing again

I suspect with Fiorini and Duursma (plus Clarke), that experiment will be over.

He only played there because we really lacked guys with end to end running capacity.
