I’d love to check it out.
His highlights definitely scream out Watson replacement however looking over at the collingwood thread on bigfooty, a lot of concern about his fitness and corresponding TOG.
Also whilst clocked in as one of the quicker players at the club, he rarely takes advantage of that pace (chasing down or breaking away from packs) and tends to “sit outside packs like a seagull rather than go in and win his own ball”.
Out with a hammy, the general consensus is that he’s played his last game with the filth. His handballs are elite, his kicking average. Perfect size for a centerman, he does remind me of a younger Watson but his stamina is for the tip. Dunno if I’d be quick to throw a 2nd rounder for this bloke though.

Yeah except it’s 2017 model Watson, and that version was about as useless as an ashtray on a motorbike.

The Sier to Essendon thing was all started by Tim Watson at the start of the season. Back at the start of the season when we were crap, and in particular our midfield was crap, he mused that we needed a big bodied mid and that we should suss out Sier as he wasn’t getting a game at the Pies.
