His highlights definitely scream out Watson replacement however looking over at the collingwood thread on bigfooty, a lot of concern about his fitness and corresponding TOG.

Also whilst clocked in as one of the quicker players at the club, he rarely takes advantage of that pace (chasing down or breaking away from packs) and tends to “sit outside packs like a seagull rather than go in and win his own ball”.

Out with a hammy, the general consensus is that he’s played his last game with the filth. His handballs are elite, his kicking average. Perfect size for a centerman, he does remind me of a younger Watson but his stamina is for the tip. Dunno if I’d be quick to throw a 2nd rounder for this bloke though.

His lack of fitness would definitely be a contributing factor as to why he doesn’t display his speed often enough and it might also be making him more injury-prone, whilst also making it hard to address the underlining problem.

This is what I noticed most from his highlights, looked more like a defensively inclined 2nd possession midfielder.

He definitely isn’t worth a 2nd rounder and I’d be reluctant to give up a 3rd rounder tbh
