Our passive house is hoing well.
HRV (for fresh air) is in, panels are up and we are getting a battery. Shouldn’t need heating or cooling according to MrHeff though we are installing spilt systems for extreme days.
I was on site 2 weeks ago and told the builder the below looked like a birth canal. I have not be invited back.
It’s double height void - took the photo on the bridge on the second level looking down at the kitchen/dinning room.
Any advice on how best to treat / prevent cracks where plaster cornices join each other and wall / ceiling plaster?
I want to get the house repainted and want to make sure that the right prep is done to prevent existing cracks returning and future cracks developing.
The house is 15 years old on a slab so there shouldn’t be much future movement I’m guessing.
