The first car looks like like a Maserati 300 S.
Where were these?
Ausca TR. I think it was based off a Maserati. It’s one of only a handful that still exist.
These cars were at Ripponlea estate over the weekend.
Speaking of Maseratis. This is the worse looking one I’ve seen, ok it’s a collab with Citroen, but it’s ordinary.
The engine was from Maserati, the rest is Citroen SM. You can blame the French for the horrible styling.
They are super collectable atm and fetch even more than that overseas. Thats where I’d say this one ends up (in Europe). They go for well
100k usd too.
Sort of in that Lancia Delta Intergrale market, which I’d prefer personally for that cash.
Maybe a matter of taste, but I reckon that looks absolutely sensational.
Definitely a matter of taste.
It’s bloody horrible.
Of course. I didn’t see the Renault marker
It does have a certain Je ne sais quoi
The Citroēn SM was the best and worst of Citroēn. Amazing performance and ride, but incredibly impractical. To change the fan belt you had to remove the engine. Maurice Wyss, who used to have New Deal Motors, had one. He kept it in his service area, inside an inflated plastic bubble.
It was even worse in person. I must say though, the leather interior was stunning. And for weird factor, it’s a head turner, but so many other amazing cats on show.
Such a cool 4x4
I wish ford wasn’t such a tease and just sold them here already. Would get lapped up.

Ever wondered what would happen if you dropped a V8 into a miata? (Not sure of this one’s supercharged…)
Wouldn’t it be too heavy?
I mean I’d love to drive it too find out
It got a whole new chassis and supposed to drive perfectly. 1 of 25, ‘made’ in Australia. Miata Bullet
Still it sounds nuts.
Bit like an old Shelby I guess
Triumph Stag came with that as standard. Small V8 at 3.0L
