Nah, the hybrid one was a good 5k more and buying outright it would’ve pushed above my budget.

That first drive home. Take it as slowly like you have a new born in the back seat.

I did

So you popped your chery :cherries:?

But not in the back of a Chery

Hey @scotty21 how is the chery treating you?

I’ve seen a couple on the road. Not a bad looking vehicle.

Its overall a great little car.

The Android Auto is a bit bipolar when on bluetooth with drop outs and that but you can just use a cable.

Picked up a few accessories on Temu as well.

Im pretty keen on this

Their first venture into hybrid technology was horribly overpriced and underspecced, so they’ve got a lot of catching up to do.

Hondas hybrid tech is meant to be awesome. Pity their cars largely cost a lot.

Agree, that MX30 was a shocker. this one is a co produced chinese model closely realted to deepal

Early european reviews are quite positive, and some Australian reviews are also quite positive. I love the look of this car and the fact it is part of mazda extensive support network, which to me, probably has a doillar value if there are any issue that come up. Pricing in the mid 50’s is also very good I reckon, The specs range and battery are not stunning , but the badge and overall seems to be a postive to me

My brother-in-law’s Kia EV6 had to be jump started the other day. There’s a certain irony in that

I have a Mazda CX-9 and I find it has less features than other cars 1-2 years older than it. I’ve had a mazda 3 and mazda 6 (pre-kids) and they were good, but I think the CX-9 is pretty crap for the price you pay. The Kia Seltos is quite good for its price

Honda’s are the best cars

I organise the fleet at work and we have a lot of Ford Everest and Rangers, I reckon those cars are very very good

So do the ranger drivers become ■■■■■■■■ or were they born that way?

I drove my wife’s Everest (RWD) and soon found myself chucking a U turn in some gravel and fishtailing out of there like a true bogan. So it’s definitely the car.
