They have the Vantage V12 S now.

If you can ignore the music it's a great sound;

Nup, not for me. I want the 4.7 litre 8. Less weight over the nose. Better handling car.

- Subaru 22B STi

- Pagani Huayra

- Lancia Delta integrale Evo II

XY GTHO Phase 3

- BMW M3 E30

I think Aston is going to be using AMG engines in the future so they should still sound as good and go better.

Find a clip of a Jag F Series V6 S under trailing throttle and you'll hear one of the greatest sounds in automotive history. The things snarl and crackle and spit - just beautiful.

I agree, the V6 F Type Jag sounds the goods. Too bad it isn't a straight 6 though.

an uncle of mine dropped by the other day in his new e63 amg s, the c*nt. i opened it up a little (as much as you can in the burbs in any case), ****ing magic.

looking forward to dropping by maranello next year!

You can pick up some great Ferrari brand Balsamic vinegar at the Ferrari museum

Ah the old Bolwell. A mate had one of those. Looked good, went hard (his was basically a Monaro mechanically), but still for all the good points, it was in essence a pretty crude fiberglass kit car. We all wanted to drive it though none the less.

And in fact when I look at that now, it looks to me like a sort of copy of (more inspired by) an Alfa Montreal. (another lovely little Italian classic)

summed up perfectly, including the 'we all wanted to drive it' bit!

The father of kid I played soccer with had one of theses Eureka kit cars, I think it may have used a VW engine.

Yep, they did. If you had one in the garage, putting a Mazda rotary in it would be the go.
