There’s something about Ollie Henry that makes me irrationally angry. I’m not sure exactly why. I think it’s because I don’t rate him at all and for some reason the fact he gets a game for a top 4 club is incredibly galling to me.

Im wondering if Gerreyn is some chance to play..?? He was in decent form before he got injured. It’s not like we have a lot to lose and it might be worth seeing what he can do at senior level…

But the 2s might. Having the reserves playing finals would be a positive for the club.
Need to decide what the priorities are for the rest of the season and where we can set ourselves up best for the preseason and 2027.

It’s nice for fans and for the VFL players but we have to get our head around the fact for most AFL listed players and the club it’s only a pretty low priority and even a inconvenience at times.

Would love for Solomon to put a big picture of Bailey Smith on the wall and every player on the list will be legally hitting him every chance they get.
Not quite line in the sand, but its in our interests to slow Smith down, he is a awesome runner.
And if there is No Holmes, and Smith Cats will struggle..
You’re comparing 2 very different roles.
Playing back in a quality team is infinitely easier than playing forward in a ■■■■ one.

yes and no - giving some of the younger kids finals experience - heck we may even win a game or two - could prove valuable for their development

I don’t mind if Kondogiannis goes back and plays VFL as the backline is a bit of a dogs breakfast.
Unwin you could probably bring back to VFL if needed to get his games up for VFL Finals. for the experience, but he may also be cut.
Imagine Gresham and Guelfi have played enough to qualify, but Parish and Perkins have not, so maybe they come into AFL side if we need to qualify some players.
I can’t see making VFL finals being a priority.
