Finals are on the line for the VFL so it’s important Perkins isn’t playing.
A benefit of Solomon dropping out is that theres no push now from him to potentially play the wrong type of players to serve his own outcomes. Hopefully him and the board are in lockstep on that.
Selection looks good. Ridley is down as 2-3 weeks on the injury list. I wouldnt bring him back for the last round even if he is right to go.
Was it as big as Wow Jones’s?
Good to see Vigo get an opportunity. I’m hoping to see a few glimpses of what he can do, but realistically, you can’t expect him to be able to compete body wise. Will Geelong play De Kooning as their primary ruck, with back up from Bliczavs? If so, I see De Kooning being a good chance for Vigo, but Bliczavs will be too strong in the body.
Concussion protocols optional.
Sportsbet has Geelong at $1.01.
Easy way to make some money.
Average ages of named 23
Ess 25.8
Gee 25.2
Games averages
Ess 94.6
Gee 118.4
That doesn’t sound right, our average age was 23.4 and average games 69.7 last week.
Wouldnt have thought bringing in Caldwell and Perkins changes things that markedly.

Gotta love the AI.
Asked it again, new answer

Not sure why we keep playing Kako. In his last 6 games he’s managed just 1 goal and averaged 8 possessions….he’d be better off learning his craft properly in the 2’s
I remember the cartoons with Charlie Brown getting sucked in every time by Lucy pulling the ball away just as Charlie was going to kick it.
Some people never learn the lesson
I saw that we copped an extra $10K fine for umpire contact this week.
When is someone in the AFL going to realize that the low ball ups the AFL is favoring (now they have omitted the center bounce) don’t give enough time for the umpires to get out of the way?of the action?
We are really crying out for forward line experience. If we are running with Unwin, Caddy, Kako and Huss, I’d make sure Sharp is more mid than forward and someone like Caldwell or even McGrath is playing alongside Wright.
Off to Pork Barrel Park. Going to steal a seat as a souvenir.
Hopefully you will succeed and they won’t cotton on as to who the culprit might be.
I think it’s pretty clear the AFL has zero leverage on Geelong.
I’m going to this game (getting dragged along by a Geelong supporting mate) and I got to say, I’ve never been less enthusiastic about attending a live game of football.
I feel like Geelong are going to do just enough to win comfortably and Essendon will look like, well, Essendon. If I thought that Geelong was going to be ruthless and try set records, I could at least get behind that. Would be a bit entertaining. But I don’t think they will.
