Growing up as a teenager I had her pictures all over my bedroom wall from her 90210 days.

I was at Breckenridge when the Mile High Miracle occurred. The place just deflated.

An all time play and a great player. RIP.

Oh no. I really didn’t want to hear about this one although I knew it was inevitable. Sad :frowning:

Hard to think Luke Perry and Shannon Doherty are both gone so young.

I was liking Luke’s renaissance on netflix as a actor too.

my sisters loved the show, it was watchable for me, hardly a fan, but was a staple like home and away and Neighbours back then.

Bob Newhart - aged 94
A great mix of sitcom star and old-style comic in the latter part of the rat pack era
Some of his routines were essential listening on comic channels on Qantas
Newhart - when he played a hotel keeper in New England was staple viewing in our house.
His appearance in The Big Bang Theory brought him accolades from a new generation

That is brilliant.

My parents had this record, and I must say- it got a heck of a spinning in my younger days. Sad news- one of the great comics

The speech-writers rewriting the Gettysburg Address was very good.

Most of his sketches on that LP were great. Introducing Tobacco to Civilisation was one, the Driving Instructor another.

From all accounts, his TV persona is basically his real-life persona.

When he was on the Simpsons, the entire production staff stopped so they could watch him record his lines. They all had to remain completely silent for 2 1/2 minutes while he did the bit and struggled to do so.
