As someone who knew Mike Noga and is surrounded by a network of grieving that goes well beyond my immediate social circles, you can politely ■■■■ right off
This is so sad. He was good. I thought he was the next Denzel. Only just watched 21 Bridges other day an was thinking can’t wait for his next role in whatever
Far out. Horrible to hear. RIP.
Vale Subbie. They just showed him on the news visiting kids in hospital. You’d only let a beautifully natured horse do that.
A lot of people had very deep feelings for him even as a racehorse.
He was the commentators horse on the track for many many years too.
They said he even helped calm horses down if they were on edge.
Then you’ve got his racing career. Super horse
More than just a horse.
Yep, so many jockeys commented on Subbies ability to calm other horses down.
Was amazing to see how gentle he was with sick kiddies in those clips. Clearly had a heart of gold.
Yet another Oak Park High Student who had Taubert as a PE teacher. Must admit don’t remember much about him though.
What a special horse he was - brought joy to so many. 32 years of age is a fine innings for a horse. Rest In Peace Subzero.

No teacher in my time at OPHS could inspect anyone having showers; we didn’t have any.
All sport was done out of the “shelter-sheds” which had the canteen in the middle. Those were the days, and OPHS produced lots of VFL footballers, for Bombers, Kangas, Doggies and Fark Carlton.
Yeah, they joined the shelter sheds to the new gym in my first year there. They become the storage rooms for equipment if I remember.
Gym; luxury, back in my day all sport was out in the cold and mostly wet. And my family lived in a box on the middle of the road; we really had it tough.
Cardboard box? You were lucky.
No it was a fruit box, we moved up from a brownpaper bag.
My favourite sketch of all time. 10/10
