My god… that’s two pretty enormous losses to the sport in 24 hours. And I’m not really a fan.

Probably the two greatest cricketers of their individual position, of all time. Warne, definitely the greatest leggie of all time (and arguably one of the greatest cricketers in general of all time), and the argument could be made that Marsh was the greatest keeper of all time. Given the performance of the boys in Pakistan today, it might be said that God truly has it in for Australian cricket today.

2022 can go and get farked.
Rod March and Dean Woods is bad enough.
But Warney?
52 is way too young.
In shock.

Can’t believe the news on Warne. Massive.

They’ll be no “celebrity death” that rocks this country more in 2022.

Yep. Agreed.
The word legend gets bandied about a bit nowdays- but its the right fit in his case.
He was the genuine flawed genius

Agree. Did not expect this at all. He just arrived there also for his holiday I reckon a day ago.

He always spoke so passionately about Melbourne and Victoria. Sad day for Australia and particularly Victoria

I’m still feel kicked in the guts at the loss of Dean Jones. Now this.
Victorian cricket has lost 2 of its absolute greats way too early.

It’s absolute tragedy.

I’m in shock. RIP Warnie.
I was at the MCG the day he took his 700th wicket. Legend. Gone way too soon.

I was also at this game but watched the 700th at The Royal with many others. I think Shane would of approved.
