my personal favourite comedian. had his fair share of health issues over his life. his howard stern appearances are legendary. another massive loss in the comedy community.

First I saw of Gottfried was in the Adventures of Ford Fairlane. What a unique voice.
For memory he was also in Beverly Hill Cop 2.
His stand up can be unsettling. But it has its place and audience.

Dang. He was genuinely funny. Walked the line between belly laugh and cringe perfectly for decades.
He made the first 9/11 joke on tv. He was a perpetual bridge burner.
He did. It was at the Roast of Hugh Hefner. He then followed that up with “The Aristocrats” joke. Absolute killer.
