Although it was released in 1998 Mezzanine is my favourite early 2000s album.
Edit: I first heard Unfinished Sympathy around 1995. I only heard it once and it haunted me for months, as l didn’t catch the details of the title. I pestered friends with a description of the song, and no one knew it, no one could help me find it out. It was only after l backtracked from Mezzanine that l found Blue Lines and that incredible vocal performance. So sad to learn today that MA’s guitarist has passed away.

Highly under rated show and he was one of the main stays, superb portrayal of character, who though not the main focus of the show, was more than just background.
