I just about agree with your selections. The only changes I would make to your team is to have Hind as the SUB in place of A. Davey. Cox to the wing where he has pkayed his best football. This one is a big question mark, is to bring Weideman into the backpocket. He is tall and has the weight to allow him to knock the Dog’s forwards around. If Hayes struggles, he and Weid can swap positions. I would like to see Caddy get a run. Parish out, he may have an injury, Caddy to the bench? After such a crap performance on Friday night. It is time to bite the bullet and drop the old, the slow and the hopeless and see what happens. It cannot be any worse can it?

Sam Weideman has never knocked anyone around in his entire career.
It’s not going to suddenly start now.
He also hasn’t even been training/playing in the backline. A couple of VFL games in the back end of last year where he got the ball (but didn’t really “defend”) does not make him a backline option.
I’d sooner play Alwyn Davey as a key defender.

I think Tsatas is a must in and he must play in the guts.
We need burst speed and that’s his strength. So what if his kicking is a bit iffy, so is JHFs.

A loss Friday night will see us in 14th spot, as teams below will be winning.
Which is exactly where we are as a team and you could script it before start of the year because there was just no pumping the players up, just more patience.

It’s fill your boots time for: Bontempelli, Liberatore, Treloar and usually one of their half-backs like Dale. All get get huge numbers and Brownlow votes. Weightman, Ugle-Hagan and Darcy will kick mini bags between them. A good old fashioned flogging at Marvel where we get to watch our defenders ■■■■ themselves trying to handball themselves out of pressure and grubber some terrible dinky 25m kicks to contests whilst our midfielders are treated with utter disdain. I’m tipping a 10 goal loss as minimum wth maybe one decent quarter from us.
On the other end the only player I expect a performance from is Merrett. As for the rest, it’s like punting on a Horse, you might get a good win, but just as likely they run a sh*t race and have you wondering why you bother.

Some decisions need to be made this week, and not only on how the mids deal with Bont, Libba and Trealor.
Jye is simply too out of form atm, so ADJ gets a run to hopefully add some magic and a goal or two. No more Hind and Kelly for me though thanks.
