Changes for Bullflogs

Houston, Drew, Butters. As I said, that isn’t a tag.

I wish we did the same thing with Rozee, multiple players rotating through him taking his run and buffeting him.

Perhaps it’s sermantics, but I don’t see any clubs playing singular players in that role these days.

Yes it is a tag, if that role is dedicated to stopping a single oppo player you can rotate as many guys as you want its still a tag

No where does it say it must be the same guy doing the role from start to finish

The only reason we have been discussing it as being 1 guy for us is that we barely have 1 with the discipline let alone multiple

I think we may just have differing interpretations

Seems that way, but I dont see how anyone can say Parish wasnt tagged all night regardless of how many players spent time in the role?

In: Edge

Out: Soft Underbelly

What a ‘tag’ is being the difference in interpetation.

I didn’t view Parish as being tagged.

Anyway, we will end up going around in circles and I’d say we already are.

Blitz sectors at it again….
Let’s get “better” by selecting Shiel & Caddy who have zero match base fitness.

Duz makes our midfield better

I will be surprised if we get within 40pts

Perkins out balances that though

I was going to say, if anyone can work out how to stop Bontempelli and not have to completely jeopardise an entire gameplan, there might be 17 AFL coaches in contact for some advice.

Agree this is a pretty winnable game even with our performance Friday.

We lose this, lose to Crows, beat Pies then lose to Eagles.

Trust.

In: Durham, Bryan, Roberts, J Davey, Hayes
Out: Perkins, Goldstein, Heppell, Menzie, Lav

Kelly goes to Bont in a negating role around the ground.

Martin to the wing and Roberts to half back.

Lav at 192cm just isn’t going to work on English/Darcy at 205 and 208cm.

McKay to Naughton, Hayes to English/Darcy when forward, Jamara does a Hammy in first quarter so we don’t need to worry about the fact we have nobody who can go with him.

I don’t think that the Bulldogs are that great either but what makes you think we are going to be competitive, I can’t think of one positive in our favor coming in to this game, please enlighten me because I am going to the game out of obligation not because I expect to enjoy it.

We are somehow a combination of being too small, too weak and too slow. Dogs will do us by 10+ goals.

Because if there is even a small amount of pride in this playing group … they are going to try and atone, win or lose.

Plus the scoreboard resets back to 0-0 at the start of a new game which is an innovative concept many Blitzers are still adjusting to.

i reckon redman can cover naughton, mckay on darcy/english and have lav roaming a bit. dogs f50 entries are similar to ours, the high kick inshallah, so speed isn’t as important as bodying/spoiling

Starting to think it will be;-

OUT: Perkins, Lav, Menzie, Goldy
IN: Durham, Hayes, ADavey, Bryan

Team;-

Kelly McKay McGrath
Heppell Hayes Martin
Redman Merrett Duursma
Caldwell Stringer Hind
Jones Langford Gresham

Draper Setterfield Parish

Bench: Durham Hobbs Cox Bryan
SUB: ADavey

I’ll be pleasantly surprised if it’s less than 50 points …Libba to destroy us at the clearances, Bont to run wild. JHF and Weightman to kick 3-4 each
