Thought Lav was good last night, held up well many times under a ridiculous amount of pressure.
Kelly was also decent, but wing is not his position.
I seriously question the coaching, why would you play Kelly on a wing and Martin off half back. We need Martin kicking inside 50 not off half back becuse we have no one else who can kick inside 50.it was sickening watching our high bombs all night

I’ll be tipping the Bulldogs but you just know, as often happens after such a bad interstate primetime performance, we will end up right in the game and show something.
We’ll go from the depths of despair now to thinking “Maybe things aren’t as bad as we thought” this time next week… win or lose.

Just wanted to lighten the mood a bit. In our last 10 matches against the Bulldogs, dating back to the start of 2015, we’ve won one (2021) and lost nine, with losing margins of 87, 40, 30, 21, 104, 42, 49, 32 and 41. Dogs players might be looking forward to this match.

Id make fairly limited changes - just bringing in fit best 22 players. Ie Durham if available.

Never thought I would say it, but I would bring in Weiderman and drop either Draper or Goldstein. Weiderman is a better forward than both of them and would provide some ruck relief.
Watching Hayes in the VFL, I want to see an option to replace Laverde but he is just too weak. After two years on the list, I thought Eyre was showing more than Hayes is now.

Draper’s lack of effort does my head in, as soon as he realises he cant get a highlight reel play he stops
Eyre had a couple of ok matches, but I think Hayes was better on the weekend than any of Eyre’s matches.
And I wanted to persist with Eyre. mainly due to his height and athleticness. he kicked a couple of nice goals too.
As a pure stopper Hayes is better. Maybe Eyre better intercept? but Hayes better disposal, both nice long kicks.
