Changes for crows - speculation

I’m talking us down

You take out what we have from any side and the gap on a lesser side closes right up. As per exposing us against better sides.

Shiel, Heppell, Stringer - 3 best inside mid options
Daniher, Stringer - 2 best fwds
Hooker, Ambrose - 2 best kpd

And our ruck situation is far from ideal.

if paul seedsman, Ben keays, C.Jones (who?) jake Kelly and the useless crouch brothers are better than our midfield, then we are COOKED

not your best post speedy

Admittedly i’m pretty lid off, but if we don’t win this game I’m going to walk around Melbourne licking traffic light buttons.

I’d put the Blitz footy team up against Adelaide at the moment and drop my life savings on them.

If we drop this match its basically season over.

We should win this comfortably. 3-4 goals.

Why do you hate Essendon so much?

I’d play Mozzie, Clarke, Francis, Guelfi, Bzerk and Stewart in this game. Great opportunity to freshen up some of the banged up boys with the amount of games coming up.

Lol

Don’t do it to yourself…

Where’s the team? Seriously!

what your doing is looking for a reason to justify a bad showing.

we beat Collingwood with half them guys out, and no merrett or McKenna too

seriously, Adelaide are 0-7 for a reason. I don’t give a fck who plays, we should be beating them easily

I’m 100% with speedy.
Home ground.
Crazy crowd.
We travel much further than normal.
Their rucks are much better.
We’re decimated at the top by injury.
Crows showed good signs in key areas last week.
This is a 50/50 game at best.
If we played in Sydney with both teams at full strength we’d win by 5-7 goals. All of the above wipe that out.

I’m still backing that call

Did you watch their game vs Saints? I did.

They won the inside 50 count 40-35 against them

O’Brien is strong and beat Marshall well last week
Matt Crouch is an AA inside mid
Brad Crouch is a very very good player
Brodie Smith who is playing midfield is also (was tagged)
Keays is tagging, beat Seb Ross & had 23disp/7clearances
Chayce Jones is very quick out of stoppages
Wingers Seedsman & Mackay hard running & experienced

Right now IMO that group is better than we are putting on the park. Stronger ruck, stronger inside mids, more experience.

This was our group last week & we were all over the shop, didn’t win it inside, or outside. Easily transitioned against.

Phillips
McGrath, Zerrett, Parish
Smith, Langford
Ham & Hibberd on wings

Then we have to actually make use of the inside 50’s we get and our fwd line is not getting it done.

Let’s see how it all unfolds but expectations of beltings is dreamland stuff in my view.

Keays will tag Merrett.

He can’t beat a tag.

Not much of a midfield left after that.

Hard to disagree with all that Essendon ripe for the picking.

B: Saad - BZT - Ridley
HB: McKenna - Hurley - Fantasia
C: Cutler - Merrett - Langford
HF: Smith - McKernan - Zaharakis
F: Tippa - Draper/Francis - Laverde
R: Phillips - Parish - McGrath

INT: Snelling - Ham - Hibberd - Cahill

IN: Draper/Francis, BZT
OUT: Hooker, Townsend

None of this resting blokes this week. Have to play our best fit and available side. Can only look to Sunday first, and then worry about next Friday.

So did we lose ?

This is no longer a should win; it’s a must win. If we don’t win this, and win it well, it’ll be season 2020 over, IMO.

First 5 mins will be telling

Need to come out breathing fire and put to bed any chance of Crows sniffing a win,.

Of course it will be.
If that’s the level we’re at then forget about it.
It’s back to the drawing board.

Our first 10 goal win for the season coming up this week. I will be backing the boys to bounce back with a big win. Get behind them.
