Changes for North

That’s why have added Sam Michael as he has been playing Chb in the reserves. Nth have Petrie Brown & Waite. We try to cover them with Grima Hartley & Michael. Then if we have to at some stage put Brown back & Michael fwd.

That’s just my suggestion anyway. Probably only options we have.

Dropping a bloke to the VFL does not mean is about to be delisted Or taken behind a curtain.

Jerrett lost his spot because he had a shocker. He should get it back because he played well.

We are so going to cause the upset of the season next week

In: Langford, Parish, Jamar
Out: Polkinghorne, McKernan and Simpkin(injured)

This is going to read a bit ■■■■, but am I the only one who doesn't get inspired with the talk of Ashby, Jerrett or Gleeson coming in?

Are you saying their chances of becoming bonafide AFL regualars are beginning to look SLIM?

You can't be talking about Parish & Jamar & Michael haven't played in our seniors as yet this season only Nab Challenge. That leaves J. Merrett & Edwards.

I’m interested in your decision to have J Merrett and Edwards ahead of Langford. Langford is showing quite a bit at the highest level reasonably consistently. You are listing 9 players who most probably will be on the short end of the stick come next year. I Like Crowley but not in a million years as a forward as he is as slow as a wet week. Edwards needs another good game in the VFL and give him a go and Jerrett could squeeze in, but needs to be very involved in score assists. Joe Daniher will again get obliterated at FF only based on where his confidence is. I would personally have him playing high up on the forward with Mr Brown deeper. Langford if he is developing in the MID well play him there

McKernan was annihilated by Goldstein last year despite giving it his absolute best. He had a go, but was giving away far too much height and strength. I’m unsure about Jamar as the other option but he sure is big enough, but maybe too one dimensional. Maybe there is a door slightly open for Michael?

May not be excitement machines, but all could end up key components in our next flag.

Yeah, they’re very… white.

and average.

I don’t understand what Woosha is doing so far this season, we are basically playing all of the top up players. This is a once in a lifetime chance for a coach to play all of the kids and fringe players without criticism and he knows a whole bunch of starters will return next year. We’re going to finish last and we’re already into round 8 and still haven’t tested a heap of players who are in the reserves. We have achieved nothing in the past 3 weeks, because we’re getting prison raped on the field and a majority of the team will not be here next year. We need to give one of them a chance this week at the very least.

I just don’t see it. Look at Fantsia, it’s clear what weapons he brings to the team, he is clean, makes good decisions, actually has pace. He is an AFL level footballer, there is no doubt. Langford and Laverde have shown what they bring to the team and that their best is better than most

Those other 3 have been in the system longer and are still making the same mistakes as they did year one. I just don’t see what their special power is so to speak?

Seriously, that list of untested senior players is Edwards and Eades, unless you’re counting injured/just returned from injury players.

I can’t see what Jerrett has done wrong apart from one poor game where he had 7 possessions. If we dumped everyone who has a game with 7 possessions, half our team would be gone.

I’m glad the Bomberblitz coaches only worked this out after I finished my decade of playing for the team.

Ashby, Edwards, Eades, Long, Jerrett (unfairly dropped), Hams, Gleeson (don't get the hate) and Irish should all be getting as much exposure as possible now, because next year they will be cut or stuck in the reserves again. I seriously don't get when people say how well (insert top up name here) played in a huge loss, because it doesn't matter in reality. If you give those guys I mentioned the rest of the season and they are clearly not up to it, then clear all of them out but at the moment nothing is being achieved by what we are doing.

Jerrett can’t get near it when it’s a tough AFL level game of footy against a good side.

VFL level of pressure below that of AFL hence he does well there.

His two best AFL games been where opposition pressure been practically non existent.

Out: Simpkin(inj), Mckernan(inj?), Polkinghorne, Redman
In: Parish, Jamar, Mckenna, Jerrett

If Mckernan isn’t injured like some suggest, he should be dropped anyway. Let Langford find some form in the 2’s. Wouldn’t mind Eades getting a game but think Mckenna and Jerrett are ahead of him atm. Bit stiff on Redman, but couldn’t think of anyone else to drop, in order to get in Mckenna + Jerrett

You really don’t get it do you? Clown
