I was never sold on him watching the pre-season games. Maybe he got too much respect because he is from Brisbane.
One thing I thought he would good at is contest stuff, when you look at how he is built. But he certain didn’t bring any of that.

He had a bad night and I can forgive him for a few of those moments where he was out bodied or out marked but that bit of play on Newcombe should see anyone dropped. The best player on the side shouldn’t be immune to being roasted for that

How tall are the crows do we really need another tall defender, just let Redman take them. After last night would prefer el-Hawli or even Setterfield to spend some time in defence over having another tall who can’t intercept mark.

Yep but look he had friends who had a bad night in terms of execution. And hawthorn were on.
I think it depends on matchups but I’d be inclined to give him one more game.
Also have no problem if he’s dropped until he improves in the VFL

Not necessary to replace Ridley and Langford like-for-like. There are magnets that can be moved, like Jones only forward and Redman only back, that allow flexibility to bring in any type of player. In any case, Gresham starts.

Reid is going to have one of Thilthorpe and Walker. Either one will push him out of marking contests pretty much at will. I’m more than happy to keep playing him, but there are going to times when it gets a bit ugly if he can’t hold his ground better than he did against Chol last night.
